Jasmine-Jade Mills (born in Sydney, Australia) is a saxophonist, conductor, and teacher. After completing a Bachelor of Classical Music at the Australian Institute of Music and a Bachelor of Performance at the Sydney Conservatorium, she is now pursuing a Master of Music at the Royal Conservatoire Antwerp under the guidance of Pieter Pellens.
Jasmine explores a wide range of styles and genres, including contemporary improvisation, on soprano, alto, tenor, and baritone saxophones. She is passionate about performing new music—particularly works by women, POC, and queer artists—and about making music accessible to all audiences.
In Australia, she has performed with notable ensembles such as the Sydney Symphony Orchestra Fellowship, the New South Wales Police Band, the Nexas Quartet, and the Willoughby Symphony Orchestra.
In Belgium, Jasmine is an active member of Maisha and assists in running their children’s workshops through Buren. She has performed with The Belgian Saxophone Choir, KCA SYmphony Orchestra, KCA Harmonie Orchestra, and KCA Saxophone Orchestra. She has also formed an improvisation duo with pianist Anna Leviskaia and Duo Mermaid with saxophonist Terence Liu.
In 2018, Jasmine premiered a new concerto for alto saxophone and wind orchestra titled Rapture by emerging Australian composer Joshua Winestock. Alongside her performances, she is deeply committed to music education and has worked at various primary and secondary schools, conducting concert bands and tutoring students in saxophone and clarinet.

Some of the schools she has taught to long term includes Summer Hill Public School, Kegworth Public School, MLC School, St Andrews Cathedral, and Saxophone Academy Sydney.
In addition to tutoring at schools, she has also taught at numerous music camps, including Junior State Music Camp, Saxophone Academy Sydney Summer School, Summer Hill Weekend Workshop, and the Sydney University Wind Orchestra Band Camp.
Jasmine has also conducted multiple ensembles such as The Sydney University Wind Orchestra, KCA Saxophone Orchestra, Concord High School Concert Band, Kegworth Junior and Senior Bands, and the Australian Institute of Music Symphony Orchestra.
Some of her conducting teachers include Dr Steven Capaldo, Steve Williams, Dr Sarah-Grace Williams, Andrew McWade, Patrick Brennan, Cathy Chan, and currently Steven Verheart.
